What Is Crunchbase News?

Crunchbase News is a digital publication covering the innovation ecosystem through deeply reported, data-driven journalism on private markets, startups, founders and investors. We first published on March 13, 2017. Though we are owned by Crunchbase—a public database of private companies that sells data access and business intelligence and sales tools—our journalism and decisions about editorial coverage are completely independent.

We believe that sharp, well-reported business journalism that’s driven by data helps to level the playing field for all entrepreneurs.
